Additionally, he announced that the CSK team is set to kick off its pre-season camp in the first week of March. Following the recently concluded IPL 2024 auction, CSK bolstered its squad, securing six new players, with the notable inclusion of New Zealand's World Cup hero Daryl Mitchell. Viswanathan felt they had a successful outing at the auction.
