England secured a 21-run victory against Bangladesh in their Women's T20 World Cup opener on Saturday. Spinners Linsey Smith and Charlie Dean took two wickets each. England's total of 118-7 was effectively defended as Bangladesh managed 97-7. Captain Nigar Sultana acknowledged missing a good opportunity due to batting failures.
